**About the role**
Infrastructure Environment Specialist will provide the RACQ Group with a healthy, highly available and stable technology platform with a focus on the infrastructure lifecycle including the delivery of new capability, health management, decommission/transition, continuous improvement and on-going technical services support throughout the lifecycle.
- Infrastructure Platform activities will focus on pro-active management, infrastructure lifecycle management and execution of the technology roadmap
- Infrastructure Delivery activities will focus on the delivery of sustainable corporate projects for the RACQ Group
- Provide analysis, design and operational resiliency in the delivery of ICT infrastructure capability, offering technical expertise and knowledge in technology infrastructure space.
- Work cross functionally with technology and business teams to deliver ICT infrastructure, capability and support.
**About you**
- Strong understanding of environment management.
- Planning, coordination, and reporting on a portfolio of work. Demonstrable expertise with engineering tools such as, Puppet, Bamboo, Octopus Deploy, SSH, PowerShell, Jira, Confluence or similar.
- Strong skills in scripting (PowerShell, Ruby, Python, Bash, Shell, etc).
- Strong understanding of DevOps practices and philosophy and how this relates to CI/CD.
- Experience delivering and managing Continuous Integration (CI) and Continuous delivery pipelines along with the underlying principles of continuous unit, acceptance and performance testing.
- Strong understanding of the software delivery lifecycle and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of observability and experience with monitoring tools like NewRelic and Pager Duty.
- Strong understanding of cloud-based technologies (Amazon AWS and Azure). Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Strong understanding of ITIL.
- Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment.
