The Stakeholder Engagement Officer role sits within the Program Integration branch of the CGTI division. The team works to give ensure a high level of integration between members of the CGTI division and their functions, and with key stakeholder groups including within DPT, the broader Transport portfolio, Victoria 2026 Organising Committee and the Office of the Commonwealth Games (DJSIR) to coordinate and facilitate integrated transport solutions for the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games.

Transport Services is a Group within the Department of Transport and Planning, and is responsible for delivering transport services across all modes that provides a single user interface to the transport network. DTP's Commonwealth Games Transport Integration (CGTI) Division sits withing the Transport Services Group. The CGTI Division is accountable for providing transport portfolio wide coordination and integration to deliver a world-class transport solution for Victoria 2026.

The Commonwealth Games Transport Integration (CGTI) division sits within the Department of Transport and Planning's Transport Services Group. CGTI's remit is to coordinate and facilitate integrated transport solutions for the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games by connecting DTP business areas to optimise our outputs.

**About the Role**

The Stakeholder Engagement Officer role sits within the Program Integration branch of the CGTI division. The team works to give ensure a high level of integration between members of the CGTI division and their functions, and with key stakeholder groups including within DPT, the broader Transport portfolio, Victoria 2026 Organising Committee and the Office of the Commonwealth Games (DJSIR) to coordinate and facilitate integrated transport solutions for the Victoria 2026 Commonwealth Games.

**Position Outcomes**
- Comprehensive understanding of program integration - partnering with working group, policy and strategy, and project and reporting teams to gain a deep understanding of each project/program within remit, including location, stakeholders, issues and risks to provide context for stakeholder engagement planning.
- Development of stakeholder engagement plans - producing comprehensive plans that effectively analyse stakeholders, define messaging and channels, reflect potential issues and propose mitigations.
- Delivery of stakeholder engagement plans - at a high standard, within outlined timeframes.
- Genuine engagement - ensuring that engagement with stakeholders is timely, appropriate and transparent.
- Collaboration - working with all DTP partners, the broader Transport portfolio (including alliance partners, transport operators and other transport agencies), Victoria 2026 Organising Committee, the Office of the Commonwealth Games (DJSIR).
- Evaluation - consulting with members of relevant stakeholders ensuring effectiveness and outlining lessons learnt for future projects.
- Promote and support safe, inclusive, and flexible team operations.

**Qualifications and Experience**

Mandatory
- Prior experience in stakeholder engagement

Desirable
- Prior experience in community engagement
- Strong writing skills
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- IAP2 accreditation
- Drivers license required_
