**The Role**

The Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer, reporting to the Senior Advisor, Information Governance and Risk will support the department with delivery of information management and stakeholder engagement activities to enhance DJSIR's maturity relating to information governance practices.

The responsibilities of the Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer will include:

- Coordinate and deliver components of the Information Governance strategic program and projects to support Departmental objectives and policies, and provide advice as required.
- Provide customer service and administrative support to assist with enquires from stakeholders and Service Now requests.
- Review and recommend improvements to policies and procedures to enhance the branch operations.

**The Team**

The position of Information Governance and Stakeholder Engagement Officer forms a part of the Information Technology & Workplace Services branch within the Corporate Services group.

The Corporate Services group consists of specialist functions including strategic communications, finance, investment and procurement, performance and governance, legal and legislation, people and culture, information technology and workplace services and emergency management. Information Technology & Workplace Services (IT&WS) oversees the delivery of information and communications technology (ICT) related investments, accommodation, facilities, mail, and fleet services to DJSIR.

**About You**
- Sound conceptual and analytical skills, including the ability to research, identify issues and to develop appropriate solutions.
- Sound time management skills with the ability to organise work efficiently and to operate effectively in an environment characterised by short and often conflicting time frames and contribute to continuous improvement.
