We are currently seeking an experienced Local Fleet Allocator to join our Melbourne Operations team based at our Altona depot.

This role requires previous Transport and Logistics allocations experience to coordinate timely and safe pickups and deliveries for our clients. Enjoy a great work-life balance with a Monday to Friday schedule and a mid-morning start, all while performing a vital process in the FMCG sector.

**About the role**:

- Manifesting and planning of local pickups and deliveries
- Working in a busy environment whilst coordinating multiple drivers, consignments and vehicles
- Driver tracking and run sheet monitoring.
- Using your transport and logistics knowledge to audit and problem solve
- Allocating Administration.

**Key Requirements**:

- Extensive knowledge of the Melbourne metro area.
- Experience in fast paced role allocating a large fleet of different trucks.
- Legal & WHS knowledge regarding CoR, driving hour, mass and fatigue management.
- The ability to build and nurture strong working relationships.
- Strong work ethic and pose a “Can do” attitude with a focus on safety.
- Computer literacy.
- Strong verbal communication, exceptional planning and problem-solving skills
- Resilience, passion, and ability to work under pressure and prioritise.
- A high level of motivation and energy with a strong focus business to business relationships.
