PrixCar Services is an automotive logistics company specialising in Vehicle Transport, Vehicle Processing and Storage, Fleet Conversions and Dealer Vehicle Storage, committed to providing a first-class service to its' prestigious automotive client base.

We are currently seeking an experienced and hands-on Supervisor to lead our Paint and Panel team in Altona North. This role will provide hands-on leadership and assist in smooth day-to-day running of our Paint and Panel operations.

**Key responsibilities**:

- To organise the planning of all production services
- Ensuring the labour force matches the requirements of the production schedule and that all labour and facilities are used efficiently
- To ensure that all vehicles are repaired in a timely manner and that pre-allocated vehicles get priority over non allocated vehicles
- To ensure that vehicles are repaired in strict compliance with customer specifications and company procedures
- When replacing damaged parts/accessories make sure that only customer authorised parts are used
- Ensure that when parts are removed to effect a repair, that care is taken to avoid damaging the part or if damage occurs replace it with authorised part
- Planning of daily labour allocation to ensure targets and deadlines are met
- Demonstrate a commitment to safety and provide leadership in this area
- Ensure that works being performed by Prixcar are done so in a safe manner, and in line with company HSEQ standards and requirements
- Assess, advise and quote on incoming Paint & Panel works
- Organise and order materials and maintain stock levels of consumables
- Ensure quality of work outputs for Paint and Panel works
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the branch
- Ensure documentation is complete and up to date, including but not limited to monthly invoicing, works in progress, payroll and purchase orders

**Skills and experience**:

- Nationally recognised trade qualifications in spray painting or panel beating
- Experience in estimating and quoting
- Considerable experience in Painting and Panel repair and experience in a supervisory capacity
- Proven experience in repairing of automotive vehicles
- Some understanding of business and finance goals in conjunction with overall project requirements
- Demonstrated critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent organisational and planning skills
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Current driver’s licence
