Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and reliable Local HC (Heavy Combination) Driver to transport goods safely and efficiently. In this role, you will play a vital part in our operations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and drive HC vehicles to transport goods.
  • Load, unload and secure goods following proper handling procedures.
  • Adhere to designated routes and schedules to meet deliveries deadlines.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, and reporting any issues promptly.
  • Comply with safety regulations ad traffic laws during transport
  • Maintain accurate logs of deliveries and fuel consumption.

Requirements:

  • Heavy Combination (HC) Truck Licence
  • HC Driving experience
  • Bulk Dangerous Goods (DG) License - Desirable
  • A strong Driving Record
  • Adhere to company technology standards and ability to use software/application
  • Load restraint experience required.
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
