Technical Expertise

Expert knowledge of and demonstrated experience in Quality Assurance roles within a large ICT environment preferably implemented using Salesforce.
Knowledge of, and experience in leading/utilising/participating in a range of waterfall (e.g., PRINCE2, PMBOK) iterative, incremental, and agile software development methodologies (e.g., Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
Significant, up-to-date knowledge and understanding of management and leadership best practices, as well as knowledge of new or emerging testing technologies and their potential value to the organisation.
Expert knowledge in agile and automated testing including test driven development and behavioural driven development practices.
Strong experience implementing test automation using tools such as Selenium, Azure DevOps, Cucumber etc
- _A minimum of 8+ years as a Test Manager (Must Have)_
- _Demonstrated experience in leading a team of test analyst (Must Have)_
- _Vendor Management will be a vital trait (Must Have)_
- _An ISTQB or an equivalent certification in Test Management (Nice to Have - will be an advantage)_
- KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES_
- Test Strategy Development: Develop a comprehensive test strategy that aligns with the overall program or project objectives. Define test objectives, scope, resources, and timelines._
- Team Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, business analysts, project managers and/or external vendors, to understand requirements and dependencies for testing activities.Resource Management: Allocate testing resources, including testers, testing environments, and tools, to ensure efficient test execution._
- Test Planning: Create detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts. Define test data requirements and identify test environments. Collaborate with Product Owner, Business Analysts and Developers on tasks related to the planning, testing and coordination of release activities._
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential risks and issues related to testing and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure that testing plans account for these risks._
- Test Execution: Oversee the execution of test cases, including functional, integration, system, and performance testing. Monitor test progress and report on test results._
- Defect Management: Establish a process for identifying, tracking, and managing defects. Work closely with development teams/external vendors to prioritize and resolve issues._
- Test Automation: Promote test automation practices to improve test coverage and efficiency. Oversee the development and maintenance of automated test scripts._
- Metrics and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure testing progress and quality. Provide regular status updates and reports to project stakeholders._
- Continuous Improvement: Continuously assess and improve testing processes, methodologies, and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness._
- Compliance: Ensure that testing activities comply with relevant industry and departmental standards, regulations, and best practices._
