Our client is a family owned and operated company, that is widely recognised and has sites in NSW, VIC, SA, and WA. They are a premium wholesaler of exterior and interior timber products with over 40 years of operation and over 100+ employees.

**The Role**:
This HR Manager role is newly created and will work closely with a Senior HR BP and will be responsible for all elements of the HR department. The HR Manager will report directly to the COO and work very closely with the Senior Leadership teams to advance flexibility, innovation, and create a competitive advantage; all while continuing the family-business culture and improving company performance.

**Your core responsibilities would include**:

- Identify capabilities and skills of company HR functions
- Develop HR framework, plan, and timeline for completion; establish criteria for measuring successful strategy
- Execute project work, such as: Policy; Leadership Development Program; Attraction and Retention program; assistance with new HR software implementation; develop framework for yearly remuneration (and award) review process
- Monitor emerging and current HR issues and trends, identify the implications for the business and provide advice and direction for company policies and procedures.
- The development of HR strategies and plans to build employee engagement and support future business objectives
- Help develop HR reporting suite

**About you**:

- Prior work experience in a senior Human Resources role is essential
- Excellent people management skills and experience
- Ideally you will have completed qualifications in Human Resources
- Extensive experience and expertise in Industrial Relations
- Prior experience implementing strategy and executing projects

- **Location**:Darra
- ** Salary**:$110k - $125k per annum, plus super (dependant on experience)
- ** Hours**: Core business hours, flexible
- ** Travel**: Occasional travel may be required to visit sites interstate
- ** Days**: Monday - Friday
