Job Description

**About the Role**

Reporting to the GM - People & Culture, you’ll be the key HR contact across our QLD sites. Located in our Darra branch, drive operational excellence and aligning HR strategies with business goals. You will provide expert advice and hands-on support across employee relations, performance management, workforce planning, onboarding, safety, and more.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Provide timely and effective HR advice to management and employees
- Lead and resolve employee relations matters including grievances and investigations
- Interpret awards and industrial instruments, ensuring compliance across the business
- Support recruitment, onboarding, and succession planning activities
- Partner with managers to deliver performance management and development initiatives
- Drive employee engagement, WHS practices, and compliance with RIPPA values
- Coordinate remuneration reviews and benchmarking processes
- Maintain HRIS accuracy and personnel records
- Support the rollout of national HR systems and initiatives
- Travel regularly between Emerald, Rockhampton, and Mackay

**What We’re Looking For**
- Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or related field
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a comparable industry
- Strong understanding of employment law, awards, and WHS legislation
- Proven experience handling complex employee relations and investigations
- High-level written and verbal communication skills
- Confident in using HRIS and data to drive decisions
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for helping people and businesses thrive
- Ability to travel regularly across multiple sites
