We have a great opportunity for an experienced generalist** HR Advisor** to join the Cement Australia team, reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner and based at our national head office in Darra.

You will provide support to the Senior HR Business Partner and your allocated business areas across the full breadth of HR services, policies and systems, including employee relations. You’ll work with a mix of professional and operational staff with teams located across the East Coast of Australia. Your ability to build strong relationships and networks across our business and willingness to tackle whatever comes your way will help you hone and develop new skills that will be invaluable for your career.

**About the role**:
At a high level, some of the work you could expect to do includes:

- Support leaders in performance and discipline matters, including terminations
- Provide advice and interpretation of EAs, and support the processes in preparation for a negotiation
- Provide reporting and analytic support to HRBP and line leaders on all HR metrics and reporting queries
- Support the recruitment process taking the lead on key roles for the customer group
- Prepare letters of offer, and other required documents outlining changes of terms and conditions
- Provide support for relevant training across relevant customer group
- Assist in the annual performance management, talent, development, salary and bonus processes

**About you**:

- Experience in HR Generalist role, ideally in heavy industry or logistics
- Degree in Human Resources preferred
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Experience in managing employee relations issues and enterprise agreement negotiations is preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills with the ability to effectively manage competing priorities
- Ability to build effective relationships with and influence leaders
- Proactive, results driven and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Intermediate computer skills e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- Able to commit to a fulltime, Monday to Friday role
