**You’ve heard the benefits of working with us...but what is the job?**
You’ll be a Linux Systems and Storage Administrator based in our Hobart site. You’ll interpret, design, develop, operate, and maintain innovative data storage solutions for our researchers, collaborators, and stakeholders.

You’ll be involved with high-performance computing and providing storage for performance-orientated computing that involves exceptionally large datasets, machine learning, Internet-of-things, edge computing, and scientific instrument data collection and processing. This is your opportunity to get your hands dirty with modern tech.

You’ll also work with the Digital Research team to provide research-driven services including high-performance and cloud computing, with a focus on the role and performance of storage platforms within this environment.

**So, what skills do I need?**
Don’t worry if you haven’t got experience in Linux ecosystems... if you have a genuine interest in the technologies we use, and you’re dedicated to a long-term career in this space, then we should have a chat.

Ideally, you’ll have a few years of experience under your belt and be familiar with open-source environments and programming.
