**Your role**

At Allens, our business teams are specialists in their field, using their unique knowledge and expertise to solve critical client and business challenges.

You'll be a part of our HR Operations Team, a shared services function, where you'll oversee day-to-day operations and streamline the employment life-cycle processes. You'll get exposure to a variety of work across our People & Development Team, and support our shift to a front-facing role with the implementation of Workday.

As the HR Operations Team Leader in our People & Development Team, you will:

- Team Management: Play a leadership role by ensuring team members are well-trained and motivated, and that tasks are delegated effectively.
- Change Management: Manage HR-related aspects of the Workday rollout and transition to a front-facing HR Operations Team.
- HR Process Management: Continuously optimise HR processes to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Compliance: Provide guidance on HR policies and implement risk management activities.
- Data and Reporting: Maintain accurate employee information and generate reports and analysis as required by the business.
- HR Process support: Administer all stages of the employment life cycle, from employment letters to induction and staff movements.

**About you**

You will have:

- Experience leading a team in a HR Shared Services or HR generalist role, preferably within a large organisation, or matrix structure (professional services).
- Familiarity with HR software and tools used for HR management, data processing, and reporting (ideally Workday).
- Experience leveraging a HR Case Management system such as Workday Help or similar, to manage work, monitor SLAs and identify process improvement opportunities.
- Ability to lead and motivate others, set clear goals, and foster a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Capability to support teams through organisational changes and transitions including creating development plans and giving feedback.
- Knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices, including areas such as recruitment, onboarding, payroll, benefits administration and offboarding.
- Outstanding internal customer service with demonstrated experience answering first level HR queries.
- Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively convey information to team members, colleagues, and employees, as well as handle employee inquiries and concerns.
- Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality at all times.
- A can-do attitude with an enthusiasm to learn new things.
