**In this role you will**:

- Lead a state-wide team to ensure consistent and effective delivery of end-to-end Human Resource advice and services are provided within the service model.
- Facilitate conversations and establishing strong partnership between business leaders and expert advisors from other parts of HR to collectively design effective solutions. Utilise contemporary practices and processes to build and maintain highly motivated, skilled and productive work teams. Drive capability uplift and foster a culture of continuous improvement and personal development across the HR Operations Team.
- Build and maintain positive professional relationships with business leaders through effective communication and engagement ensuring they are informed of relevant issues and advice in a timely manner.
- Design and implement business improvement initiatives to enhance HR processes and practices.
- Exercise judgement in prioritising workloads in an environment of competing priorities and constant change.
- Actively contribute to the HR leadership team including budget development, business improvement, staff morale initiatives and strategic and operational planning.
- Contribute to a safe, healthy and discrimination free workplace.
- Manage resourcing, business plans and workforce capability plans.
- Implement and comply with departmental governance and reporting requirements.
- Participate in a range of Forums on behalf of the Division.
- Provide input to and support the development of policy and procedures in support of human resources
- Develop and implement operational HR practices and processes consistent with legislation, policy and corporate services direction.
- Other duties as directed and required.
