As a payroll manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing the payroll operations for the company. Your duties may include:
- Processing payroll accurately and on time, including calculating salaries, deductions, and taxes.Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations related to payroll, taxation, and employment.Managing and maintaining payroll records, including employee details, salary information, and tax documentation.Liaising with HR, finance, and other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination in the payroll process.Managing payroll-related queries and requests from employees and external stakeholders, and resolving any issues that arise in a timely and efficient manner.Implementing and maintaining payroll policies, procedures, and systems to improve efficiency and streamline processes.Staying up-to-date with changes in legislation and regulations related to payroll, and ensuring that the company remains compliant.Managing and leading a team of payroll staff, ensuring that they have the necessary training and support to perform their duties effectively.

**The Successful Applicant**:
To be a successful applicant, you will have:
- Minimum 8 years payroll experience, 3 years plus as a team leader/manager
- Relevant qualification in Finance and bookkeeping
- Experience working in a large organisation of 2500 timesheet employees +
- Experience within the blue collar, labour hire or transport industry sector
- Proven ability to manage the payroll function in multi-site operations
- Ability to be a hands-on leader who motivates the team
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with a customer service focus
