We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Payroll Officer to join our team at Anglicare Sydney, based in Macquarie Park. This is a casual position, offering an exciting opportunity to contribute to our mission by ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately process end-to-end payroll for all employees, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and organizational policies.- Maintain and update employee payroll records, including new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.- Prepare and distribute pay slips, ensuring all deductions and entitlements are correctly applied.- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees and provide exceptional customer service.- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare reports for management.- Assist with the preparation of payroll tax, superannuation, and other statutory obligations.- Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure seamless payroll operations.
Education and Experience:
- Two to four years’ payroll experience.- Good knowledge of payroll procedures, payroll systems, time & attendance systems, and general staff procedures.- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.- Experience with Chris21 is desirable.
