As the Regional Property Asset Officer, you will coordinate and deliver the management of built assets across a diverse property portfolio.

**You will do this by**:

- Providing comprehensive reports on portfolio property assets to support investment planning, property maintenance and upgrade planning as well as maintaining an extensive baseline property data system.
- Undertaking building assessments and preparing reports on property management solutions for complex property management cases such as Strategic Asset Management (SAM) nominations, Pathways Shared Equity Loan (PSEL) and improvements for high needs customers.
- Ensuring compliance of maintenance works with statutory requirements, building codes, regulations and departmental policies (including fire safety).
- Conducting initial data recording for all additions to the portfolio and identifying and advising the Regional Director of improvements to property management systems and processes, including the data capture process.
- Attending technical joint inspections with Asset Services Qld (ASQ) or its contractors in the case of complex or contentious issues.
- Completing the Property Condition Audit Process (PCAP) inspections on new construction, Purchasing of Existing Stock (PEX), Previously Never Inspected & Indigenous Community Housing Organisation (ICHO) properties and provide briefs and scope of work.
- Monitoring performance of maintenance and upgrade service delivery arrangements, including compliance with data collection processes and conduct risk analysis.
- Providing property advice and support to the Housing Service Centres on property assets and portfolio management issues, including investment suitability, functionality, and practicality consistent with departmental polices.
- Maintaining knowledge and skills in current property management practice and departmental policies and procedures.
- Representing the Department's portfolio programs and decisions at local forums as well as establishing and maintaining positive and effective relationships with community representatives, stakeholders, and non-government organisations on property asset management related matters to ensure best practice property management principles are developed and implemented.
- Keeping the Regional Director informed of the status of the region's property management performance and advising on strategies to achieve the region's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
- Leading and ensuring you establish and maintain a workplace safety culture by ensuring that all policies and practices concerning Workplace Health and Safety are applied and a part of day to day operations.
