Your main responsibilities will include:

- Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Analysts, Engineers, Product Managers, Researchers and Designers to solve problems and prioritise design activities
- Advocate Human-centered design, user testing and iterating wireframes and customer journeys based on quantitative and qualitative feedback to achieve the best possible outcome
- Create design wireframes and prototypes using Sketch, Invisionapp and Figma.
- Build customer journey maps, experience mapping, or process mapping
- Drive the creation of scalable experiences, leveraging HSBC in-product messaging capabilities and channels to address those customer challenges and pain-points.
- Build effective relationships with all stakeholders, navigating ambiguity and complexity to find a pathway forward for digital deliveries

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

- Tertiary qualification or equivalent is desirable.
- 2 years of recent experience as a Principal Designer, or 7 years as a Senior UX or Product Designer
- Strong UX research skills, iterative design, prototyping and facilitation of workshops with stakeholders
- Ability to produce high quality artefacts such as journey maps, task models, wireframes and interactive prototypes
- Experience of human-centred design/design thinking
- A passion to put customers’ experiences and interests at the centre of deliveries
- Experience with collaborative and agile ways of working, and with managing teams in an agile context
- Excellent interpersonal skills demonstrating the ability to influence as well as developing strong and productive relationships with key senior management and colleagues in a complex matrix environment
