**About the role**

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated, and passionate Leader to join our Service Transformation team as our Principal Advisor, Design Optimisation, and Implementation. The Service Transformation team is a newly established team focused on shaping Service NSW frontline service delivery for the future.

This exciting period of innovation and change will require using fresh thinking and co-design processes to improve experiences and outcomes for our three key impact areas: our customers, our people, and our business.

The Principal Advisor in Design Optimisation and Implementation is responsible for leading a team of creative and passionate professionals to deliver expert advice and innovative ideas, develop creative yet practical solutions to achieve business objectives and inspire a wide range of team members to embrace the future.

The key to your success within this role is your ability to build positive, collaborative, and trusted relationships with team members across multiple directorates, appreciating and understanding the diverse operational needs and seeking to identify win-win scenarios.

Your peer-to-peer relationships across cross functional teams will be paramount in the co-design of fit for purpose strategies and innovative solutions.

**Key Accountabilities**
- Leading and facilitating an operating rhythm that ensures continued contribution from all members of a diverse community of practice.
- Building, leading, and developing a team capable of producing, design artefacts, presentations and other communication artefacts that effectively and persuasively describes complex concepts in clear and easy to understand ways.
- Building leading and developing a team capable of facilitating workshops, design sessions and ideation sessions with diverse team members across multiple disciplines.
- Managing complex and sensitive consultations and negotiations with diverse stakeholders, within agreed timelines, given their varying expectations, viewpoints, and interests.
- Clearly defining multiple project objectives and describing best outcomes considering constraints such as resources and tight deadlines, and the need to identify project interdependencies and balance competing demands and priorities.**Renumeration**:
Salary SNSW Grade 11/12, with the base salary for this role starting at $142,087 base plus superannuation
