**The Company**
This organisation is a government agency responsible for managing and coordinating the communication services of various public safety and emergency agencies throughout the state of New South Wales. The agency also provides strategic advice to government agencies on the latest communication technologies and trends, and plays a key role in driving innovation and best practice in this field.
**The Role**
The CX Design Principal Lead will continue to add to the success of the team in building out and being an advocate for the CX/HCD Capability, as well as drive the design of innovative customer experiences that meet the objectives and goals and align to the NSW Government's principals and strategic priorities.
**You will have**:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CX designer with a strong understanding of human-centred design (HCD) principles and methodologies.
- Proficient in creating high-quality deliverables such as personas, journey maps, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
- Hands-on experience in designing, conducting and leading customer research activities.
- Significant experience collaborating with stakeholders from various departments and working in a cross-functional team.
- Ability to manage uncertainty and adapt to changes as required.
- Demonstrates emotional intelligence, active listening, curiosity, empathy, and the ability to influence others.
- Strong problem-solving skills and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on achieving desired outcomes.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is preferred.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
**This is an exciting opportunity for someone with excellent stakeholder engagement skills who enjoys being an advocate for HCD, as well as someone wanting to take a step up into CX Strategy.**
