A global company specialising in aviation services to the Defence industry is seeking an experienced Logistics Coordinator to join their team. With a long term established brand and exceptional reputation both in Melbourne and globally, this is great timing to join this exciting industry.

**Your new role**

As a logistics supply coordinator for this company, your responsibilities will include:

- Active participation and compliance promoting Aviation Corporate Governance, Compliance/Training activities and requirements.
- Development and maintenance of local operating procedures that support a Supply Support Plan for the B3 Program.
- Work in conjunction with site leadership and General Managers.
- Act as the Customer contract for matters relative to Logistics, Supply and GSE within B300
- Provide input to the B300 Supply Support Plan.
- Identify, record and provide solutions for supply chain risks identified.
- Management of the Inventory Budget.
- Perform Servicing, repairs and maintenance of basic equipment.
- Maintain records for all GSE and ST&E items within the B300 Program.
- Provide guidance and support to ensure success of direct reports.
- Ensuring KPIs are achieved.

**What you'll need to succeed**

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Tertiary education or relevant experience in Supply Chain Management preferably within Aviation and/or Defence related disciplines.
- Extensive experience in supply support activities involved in the achievement of Supply Support requirements.
- Demonstrated knowledge of ERP systems and Defence Supply Chains.
- Experience in managing and a strong understanding of the value in end to end supply chain.
- Ability to be a team leader and promote positive culture and change in the workplace.
