Discover the opportunity to join the logistics team in West Melbourne as a **Logistics Coordinator. ** In this diverse and challenging role, you will support the VIC Logistics team on a national level to ensure their products reach the customers reliably and on-time across a rail network. You will execute transport plans using your knowledge of logistics processes to achieve the safe and efficient movement and delivery of all products delivered by rail to domestic destinations.

Working with a supportive team and providing high levels of service to customers and operations:

- You will be a main contact between carriers, dispatch points and planning teams, facilitating relationships that yield continuous improvement
- work with operations and planning teams to monitor information and priorities, ensuring the correct scheduling of products for distribution on the rail networks
- execute transport plans at a national level and effectively monitor warehouse performance, identifying any opportunities for improvement
- work closely with internal stakeholders including transport, sales and warehouse teams to coordinate the most efficient and cost-effective delivery schedules for customers

You will have a good working knowledge of transport, operations or logistics environments, you will bring:

- a proactive approach in building constructive and effective relationships
- an aptitude in data analysis and a proactive approach to adopting and utilizing new technologies
- a strong customer focus and the ability to deal with ambiguity and change
- high attention to detail and the ability to multitask
- a continuous drive in improving procedures and process
- a commitment to your own safety and wellbeing while caring for others

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
