Recent projects of the Eptec Group include the Bennelong Apartments in Sydney, Warragamba Dam Pipeline, Brisbane X-River Rail, Sydney Metro Trains, HMAS Choules, and Old Murray Bridge in SA.

**About the role**:
Join our team in Regents Park as the CCE Commercial Finance Analyst and help us drive the financial success of our business. This role will provide the General Manager the analytics to help drive continued value for the business. Position will be based at our Regents Park office.

**Key Responsibility Areas**:

- Build, manage, and maintain an economic model using utilization percentage assumptions, rate analysis, and client data to provide accurate financial projections.
- Manage and maintain business programming related to Labour rates, including ongoing analysis of labor rates.
- Ownership in preparing the monthly result.
- Develop a robust cash flow forecasting tool with actionable metrics, enabling the business to make informed decisions and measure performance effectively.
- Understand and analyse leave metrics and behaviors and correlate them with the economic model to optimize workforce management.
- Conduct market analysis on competitors and clients when necessary, providing valuable insights to guide strategic decisions.
- Assist with M&A duties, contributing financial expertise and insights to support the evaluation and execution of potential opportunities.
- Take ownership of the business forecasting model, ensuring accuracy, relevance, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Provide ad hoc analysis to the General Manager and Commercial Finance team as required, supporting informed decision-making.

**Skills/Experience**:

- Tertiary qualifications in business, commerce, or economics (CPA/CA Qualified is a plus)
- Proven experience in financial analysis, forecasting, and economic modelling.
- Strong proficiency in financial software and tools, including advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.
- Effective communication skills to present complex financial information clearly and concisely.
- Ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and thrive in a dynamic environment.
- Strong business acumen and the capability to contribute strategic insights.
- Prior exposure to M&A activities is a plus.
