***About the role**

The procurement finance analyst supports VetPartners, to maximise value from supplier contracts through effective management of rebate calculations and invoicing processes. The role centres on maintaining integrity of procurement data, as well as preparing ad hoc financial modelling to support decision making across the procurement and operations teams. The role sits within the Finance Team and reports directly to the Commercial Manager.
- Manage the monthly and quarterly rebate process, including accurately collating wholesalers’ information and rebate calculations.
- Calculate quarterly rebate distribution to members for United Vets Group business.
- Manage the accounts receivable function for supplier rebates, including raising of supplier invoices.
- Maintain the Business Development Fund register to record all ledger entries for planned activities.
- Act as supplier liaison between the business and its key suppliers by managing the procurement inbox.
- Provide rebate estimates to sales team for new member leads, based on clinic spend data.
- Contribute to month end process, including revenue recognition process and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Audit and cleanse supplier data to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in reporting for ad hoc projects to support the procurement team.

**To be considered for the role**:

- 2 years demonstrated finance or procurement experience within a large corporation, preferably within Veterinary, Retail, Franchising or Health Industries.
- A tertiary level qualification in Commerce, Business, Finance, or other area relevant to the position and/or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and training.
- Experience with Microsoft Navision and/or Pronto.
- Experience raising invoices, exposure to accounts receivable, creating journal entries, and accruals.
- A high level of data literacy and intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
- Understanding and/or experience working with Data warehouses and BI reporting.
- A passion for animals and/or veterinary health care.
