- an opportunity perhaps to head up two of the search ‘feature’ teams within one of Australia’s largest and best-known businesses.
At the helm of two of the engineering squads you will bring your vast and varied experience to this
**Senior Tech Lead** role that will see you taking charge of the algorithms that facilitate the search and navigation of the company’s website.
The first 3-6 months will see you engaged in a sponsored search project, driving and creating strategy for the system, and defining what the work will look like as the year progresses.
**With great responsibility**
Comes great power and strong leadership. You will be partnering with the Head of Tech and Product in the decision-making process, working to enable the platform to operate at a higher scale than it is currently.
Your stakeholder engagement will be on point, and your ease at talking through all technological aspects of the product and platform will determine your ability to ensure things are being established and run in the right way.
This is a complex system, so expect to get your hands well and truly ON You will be directly involved coding, designing and architecture, as well as making key decisions around them. You will be expected to be fluent in Elasticsearch,.Net Core, Cloud, CI/CD, and Event Driven Architecture as it relates to Microservices.
