We're looking for two experienced Tech Leads to join Nexl's growing Product squads.  

As a Tech Lead, you'll sit at the intersection of engineering excellence and product delivery. You'll be hands-on in the code while guiding technical direction, mentoring engineers, and working closely with the squad's Product Manager to ship impactful features. You'll own technical decisions within your squad, ensuring quality, scalability, and alignment with Nexl's wider architecture. 

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on both building and leading. Someone who can still roll up their sleeves in the codebase, but also zoom out to bring clarity, structure, and direction to the squad. 

Our Tech Stack:
Frontend: React & TypeScript
Backend: Ruby on Rails with GraphQL, and Python with WebSockets & Protobuf 


Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Senior Engineer /Tech Lead in a scaling B2B SaaS company.
  • Strong expertise in at least one part of our stack (React/TypeScript, Ruby on Rails, or Python).
  • Comfortable balancing hands-on coding with leadership responsibilities.
  • Track record of making sound architectural decisions and guiding teams through technical trade-offs.
  • Experience working in cross-functional squads alongside Product Managers and Designers.
  • Ability to mentor and grow engineers, raising the bar for quality and delivery.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving startup environment.
