**About the role**:
This role will report into the Vice President, Corporate Planning & Strategy Manager and will provide support to the Core Planning team by preparing reports and materials related to corporate and strategic planning, regulatory requirements and by producing regular reporting to Head Office.

This position will also assist with coordination of executive committee meetings and perform various administrative tasks to support efficient team operations.

**What you’ll be doing**:

- Collate and prepare documentation related to the department's business planning and action plans, local regulatory requirements, as well as executive committee meeting materials.
- Store documentation in accordance with MUFG policies and guidelines, as well as local regulations.
- Complete various reporting and checklists in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.
- Support in developing and updating policies, frameworks or processes to ensure alignment with all relevant regulations.
- Develop recommendations for continuous improvement and support implementation.
- Support internal and external audits within the department by preparing documentation as required.
- Support in managing the risk profile for the department.
- Maintain good working knowledge of industry trends, products, relevant laws and regulations.
- Work in partnership with stakeholders across various departments to ensure required material and/or data is provided accurately and on time.
- Build and maintain good working relations with internal stakeholders and provide a high level of service and professionalism.
- Support team building and foster teamwork where necessary.

**What we are looking for**:
Required skills:

- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with other departments
- Project management and coordination skills
- Good analytical skills to interpret data and draft reports
- Attention to details to coordinate meeting materials and prepare necessary reporting
- Communication and presentation skills in English and Japanese to influence using technical data and information to support line of reasoning
- Intermediate level of Microsoft Office skills

You’ll likely have an undergraduate qualification e.g. Economics, Finance, Accounting or Law.
