Job description:
General Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and commercially minded Financial Planning Analyst to join our Finance team. This role is pivotal in supporting strategic decision-making through accurate financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Analyse financial performance and provide insights to senior management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support product planning, pricing strategies, and investment decisions.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports for local and regional stakeholders.
- Assist in variance analysis and identify opportunities for cost optimisation.
- Support ad hoc financial projects and scenario modelling.
Qualifications/Education Job Requirement
- Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within automotive
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and financial modelling.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Completed CPA, CA, or equivalent qualifications
