**YOUR ROLE**

The Strategic Planning team sits within the Corporate Strategy function in the Finance Division. The team serve as the key forward-looking radar for IAG, drive strategic planning activities and evaluate strategy execution performance for the IAG Group. Reporting to the Manager, Strategic Planning you will support strategy planning across the Group while also working on the big strategic questions for IAG, with day-to-day exposure to senior executives. Your experience in data analysis and ability to turn complex ideas into clear and concise materials will be key in this role.

A key part of the Strategic Planning Analyst role is the delivery of IAG’s annual strategic planning cycle. This involves stakeholder engagement and coordination, setting and managing deadlines, creating useful resources and templates, and monitoring performance against business objectives. You will work closely with other Divisions to support development of business plans, ensuring alignment to IAG’s strategic priorities and goals.

This role will be based in Sydney.

**ABOUT YOU**
- Experience in business strategy development, planning or execution
- A strategic thinker, who enjoys understanding the bigger picture
- Experience working collaboratively across multiple teams and stakeholders
- Structured approach to problem-solving
- Experience with Financial analysis and modelling
- Comfortable working with ambiguity; responding to requests at short notice
- Clear communicator with a high standard of writing & presentation skills
- Experienced user of MS Office including Excel, Word & PowerPoint
