We're partnering with a state government department in the picturesque North Coast Region to fill an AO3 Program Support Officer position. As a Program Support Officer, you will play a pivotal role in providing high-level support services to the Manager (Delivery) and project managers. Utilizing your expertise in various computer software programs, information management systems, and databases, you will ensure the timely and successful execution of projects while maintaining compliance with relevant legislation, organizational policies, and procedures.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Provide exceptional administrative support to the Manager (Delivery) and project managers, including coordinating team meetings, recording and distributing meeting minutes, arranging document and report signings, creating and maintaining spreadsheets and registers, delivering timely updates and presentations, and preparing necessary Procurement and HR documentation.
- Ensure that operational practices and performance standards align with departmental and regional policies, legislation (including WH&S regulations), and governance requirements.
- Offer effective performance management and guidance to project administration staff, ensuring all tasks are completed within specified deadlines.

**Reporting Structure**: This role reports directly to the Manager (Delivery), fostering a collaborative work environment and offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

**Requirements**:

- Proficiency in utilizing a diverse range of computer software programs, including Microsoft Office suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to maintain accurate records and documentation.
- Ability to work effectively within a team and coordinate various tasks to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with compliance standards, legislation, and policies relevant to the role's responsibilities.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Previous experience in a similar role or within a project-oriented environment is highly regarded.
