**What’s the opportunity?**
We are seeking an experienced Government Account Manager to join our Lumify sales team. Based in Canberra, you will play a pivotal role in fostering and maintaining relationships with key government clients. Your primary responsibility as the Government Account Manager is to build and maintain strong relationships with existing government clients, understand their specific needs, and provide tailored solutions.
**What will I do?**
Building and maintaining strong relationships with existing government clients.
Understanding the specific needs of government agencies and providing tailored solutions.
Maximizing revenue growth by identifying upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
Conducting market research and identifying new business opportunities within the federal government sector.
Developing strategic account plans and proposals to expand the government client base.
Attending industry events to enhance visibility and promote our solutions.
Acting as a trusted advisor and consultant to government clients.
Collaborating with Fed Gov Strategic Account Manager who owns the larger agencies.
Collaborating with internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Setting revenue targets, monitoring performance, and providing regular reports.
- Staying updated on competitor activities and market trends.
**What have you accomplished?**
Proven experience as an Account Manager with business development experience preferably within the government sector.
In-depth understanding of government procurement processes, policies, and regulations.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment.
Demonstrated ability to analyze client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Proactive and self-motivated, with a passion for delivering outstanding customer experiences.
- Existing network within the government sector in Canberra is advantageous.
