**Patient Care Assistant** **Greenslopes Private Hospital | Rehabilitation Ward** - Two positions available - Permanent full-time and part-time opportunity available - Join our friendly, supportive team - Learn and grow with us - we will support your professional growth **About the Role** This opportunity will see you working in our Rehabilitation ward, under the guidance and direction of our supportive clinicians. As a PCA you will complete tasks to assist in providing safe and effective care for our patients. - Responsibilities for this role will include but is not limited to:_ - Clinical assistance with patient ADL’s and tasks as delegated - Assisting with patient transport and manual handling - Effective cleaning of equipment including the preparation of beds - Re-stocking ensuring the efficient running of the unit **Your Key Skills and Experience** - Certificate III in Health Care or similar - Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required - High level of interpersonal skills and communication skills - Self-motivated and able to work effectively according to directions - High level of customer service and excellent time management skills - Understanding of infection control principles - Prior experience in Rehabilitation or a similar role desirable **Remuneration** A base hourly rate ranging from $29.47 - $31.40 + superannuation and applicable penalties, based on experience level and qualifications (GPH Support Services Level 3). **What’s in it for you?** **Professional Advancement**: Recognition, Rewards, Professional Development, and Employee referral programs.
