**The Position;**
- Assisting and supporting clinical staff in the provision of patient care
- Providing patient transport; transferring patients to and from wards and departments,
- Transferring files, specimen samples and pharmacy boxes to different parts of the hospital
- Moving complex and valuable medical / operating theatre equipment
- Perform general cleaning tasks in a clinical setting
- Assist with laundering and distribution of linen
- Respond to all emergencies as they occur

**About you**:

- Displays a positive and resilient nature
- Ability to deliver high levels of service to customers, with a focus on patients' comfort and needs
- Flexible, reliable and ability to work under pressure
- Physically fit (this is a physically demanding role in a fast paced hospital environment)
- Exceptional communication skills
- Experience with patient care (desirable)
- Available for a variety of shifts Monday-Sunday with shift times varying from 6am-2pm, 7am-3pm, 2-10pm and 3-11pm

**_In line with the required legislation, a current National Police check, Covid Vaccinations, Working with Children (Blue Card), and evidence of immunity to a variety of vaccine preventable diseases will be required as part of the standard recruitment and selection process for this position._**
