There are multiple positions available within Public Trustee Customer Property Services. The three main functional areas being Building Inspections & Compliance, Furniture, Fittings and Effects and Real Estate Services which is a licensed real estate business providing the full suite of services on behalf of Public Trustee clients. The role will report to the Senior Property Officer (House Clear Out Services) within Property Services and is based in head office. Travel will be required in the performance of duties along with the administration and attendance to Inventory and House Clear Outs.
Mandatory/Desirable Requirements
A 'C' or 'CA' class driver's license
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct property inventory and house clear outs including delivery of estate goods, chattels and vehicles identified for distribution to beneficiaries or for sale or disposal of for the Public Trustee of Queensland.
- Duties are undertaken in accordance with approved policy and procedures consistent with the Public Trust Office's reputation for professional, ethical and transparent business processes.
- Perform accurate and timely administration duties in accordance with documented record keeping requirements to ensure the successful ongoing delivery of the program.
- Closely work with the Senior Property Officer and team members to ensure risk and fraud controls specific to the program are proactively monitored and managed effectively.
- Continue to develop a working knowledge of the internal procedures and processes for undertaking of inventories including the handling, assessment and securing of valuables.
- Manage multiple files concurrently and complete tasks within timeframes set by the coordinator in accordance with service agreement service delivery outcomes.
- Provide timely advice both written and orally to the Senior Property Officer if requested.
