**About Our Client**

Excellent opportunity to join a reputable organisation located in Parramatta and coordinate a key project with hybrid style flexibility. Our client is looking for a motivated assistant policy and project officer to deliver a range of support activities that meet predetermined objectives, whilst being a point of contact for various working groups.

**Your New Role**

As Assistant Policy and Project Officer, you will have the opportunity to:

- Use strong communication, organisation, and analytical skills to plan and achieve project goals
- Provide advice to senior management, collect and analyse data, as well as prepare and submit relevant documentation.
- Respond to routine policy queries, provide consistent advice and information, as well as relay client feedback.
- Contribute to the preparation of reports, draft correspondence, papers, and minutes to support the development of policy initiatives
- Respond to routine policy queries to provide consistent advice and information

To be successful in this position you should:

- Attention to detail, with great verbal and written communication skills
- Analytical and logical approach, being capable of considering multiple solutions to issues
- Have a commitment to customer service and satisfaction
- Work collaboratively with team members and have a view to sharing knowledge
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and multitask
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite, including Microsoft Teams and Outlook
- Be open to or hold a valid working with children check (WWCC) and police check
