**IMMEDIATE - POLICY / PROJECT OFFICER / ADVISER - 6 months - AUD 62 + Super - NSW Government Project**
- 6 Months (possible extensions)
- Title : Policy and Project Officer
- Hours/day: 7 and weekly 35
- Pay Rate: $56.00 - $62.00 per hour + super
- Location: Parramatta + WFH (Hybrid)
- **Government Experience essential ( Researching, analysing and evaluating information, and developing strategy / Policy proposals )**

MUST HAVE **:Project Coordination in Government Project** / **Policy experience / Data Collection / Data Analysis / Content Manager (10) / TRIM / Project Administration**

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide a range of **project management and support services**, including maintaining project documentation
- Implementing and monitoring project plans, to **ensure project outcomes** are achieved on time, on budget, to quality standards
- Provide timely, relevant analysis and advice to **strategic policy issues** including through coordination of cross divisional input.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation for reporting, monitoring and evaluation purposes to ensure accessibility of quality information
- Communicate with key stakeholders and coordinate working groups, committees and consultations to facilitate exchange of information
- **Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues** and track and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
- Prepare a range of project or policy related documents including briefs, reports, status updates and discussion papers.

**Challenges**:

- Delivering a range of project management and support services, given tight deadlines, limited resources and the need to manage competing priorities.
- **Researching, analysing and evaluating information, and developing strategy**:

- **Policy proposals under pressure **and against competing and short deadlines.
- Operating flexibly in a high workload environment with multiple competing deadlines
