Salary $99,431 - $110,064 plus super

**About the role**

The Policy and Projects Officer will coordinate and contribute to the development and delivery of a range of projects and provide analysis and advice to support DCJ and Government policy initiatives and commitments. This role will communicate with key stakeholders and assist with coordinating working groups, committee meetings, and stakeholder consultations to support engagement. The Policy and Projects Officer will coordinate and contribute to the development and delivery of a range of research, projects and policies, including providing analysis and advice. Note: Various opportunities exists for a Policy & Projects Officer across the Strategy, Policy and Commissioning (SPC) Division. SPC provides policy, strategy and data analytics work across DCJ.

**About you**

We welcome individuals with a diverse range of experience - both in and outside government policy.

Key Selection Criteria:
1. Understanding and/or experience in relation to one or more social policy issues (noted above), including an understanding of the barriers faced by communities.

2. Excellent research and written skills, with an ability to analyse and collate information from diverse sources and provide well-researched advice.

3. Project Management skills that can contribute to reporting, research, program reform, innovation, evaluation and/or grant projects etc, within tight timeframes.

4. Excellent verbal skills, with ability to communicate with a wide variety of stakeholders across community, government and/or non-government sectors to ensure effective collaboration on policy/projects.

5. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or equivalent experience
