Tech Plas Extrusions Pty Ltd are a specialised plastics manufacturing company. We are looking for an enthusiastic Project/Programme Coordinator to manage product development projects for our business. The role will report directly to the General Manager and provides coordination and management of the company’s projects including product development of new and innovative plastic extrusions.
- Diploma of Project Management or similar required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the same or similar role.
- Solid understanding of the manufacturing industry in Australia
- Proficiency in recording, compilation and reporting of production data required for monitoring and coordinating the execution of company’s projects.
- Strong analytical and organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Multitasking

**Duties for this role include**:

- Liaise with R&D Manager and Sales staff to understand customer requirements and scope for new product development projects, budget and deadlines.
- Liaise with the Operations Team to determine the machinery required for the project and liaise with the Production Managers to prepare project work orders and plan trial runs for new product development.
- Check inventory levels and raising purchase requisitions as per project requirements, includes liaison with the warehouse.
- Coordinate with production managers and finance team in calculating overall projects’ budgets and setting project timelines.
- Work with factory supervisors to ensure all scheduled trials are run as per plan.
- Review and ensure correct recording, compilation and reporting of production data required for successful execution of company’s project.
- Advise senior management on project issues and implement necessary modifications.
- Coordinate with the technical team regarding machinery faults, breakdowns and operations as required. Prepare and keep records for each trial run.
- Work with the sales/front of house staff to inform or respond to queries of the customer regarding trial runs of the product and using their feedback, ensure that all customer instructions are communicated to staff and adjust project specifications to meet the customer requirements.
- Identify project problems such as quality control, transport between the different plant locations, storage and delivery and ensure that the problems are rectified.
- Coordinate all deliveries with Warehouse Manager; plan all picking and packing of project related orders with Warehouse Manager
- Liaise with QC Team to ensure quality outcomes and compliance with QC procedures. Also include help in designing new QC procedures for the new products being developed.
- Ensure compliance with the workplace safety procedures and consider safety parameters in project planning.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
