About the role:
As part of AGL’s decarbonisation plans, Torrens Island A Power Station has ceased operating and will be decommissioned and mechanically demolished. The Project Control Coordinator Torrens A Decommissioning and Demolition will develop a system of project control for the preparation and execution of the demolition strategy for the transition of the power station. You will interface with the engineering, environmental, finance and procurement functions. Specific responsibilities include:

- Preparation of documentation for budgets, risk, variations, project execution and detailed schedules for decommissioning and demolition
- Develop and implement a system of project control for the works, including regular progress and variance reporting from baseline.
- Development of project communications
- Ensure compliance with regulatory obligations, energy regulation, HSE requirements, procurement and contractor management policies and procedures

About You:
You will ideally have a background working in project management and control in heavy industrial industries such as power generation, oil and gas or similar and have some exposure to decommissioning and demolition of assets. You will be a self starter, team player and adaptable to change.

What you bring to the table:

- Advanced project management skills including knowledge of PMBOK / ISO 21500, AS/NZ/ISO 31000 and AS/NZ/ISO 10006
- Project scheduling, planning and control within a heavy industrial industry
- Strong commercial skills including development and management of project budgets and cashflow forecasting
- An understanding and commitment to HSE responsibilities
- Advanced communication, interpersonal and influencing skills
- The ability to manage conflicting priorities
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to communicate effectively across multiple levels and disciplines
