**Your Role**
Joint Capabilities Group (JCG) Headquarters is seeking a highly motivated Group Risk Coordinator to provide strategic oversight along with group level coordination and analysis of risk across JCG. Experience with enterprise, finance and security risk will be highly valued.
The position will be responsible for risk coordination, analysis, performance monitoring, reporting, as well as providing strategic support and advice relating to the group framework to the Chief of Joint Capabilities and Deputy Chief of Joint Capabilities on security matters. The role is also required to identify, build and maintain strategic relationships with risk professionals across the Defence organisation.
**About our Team**
Headquarters JCG provides high level support to the Group Head, the Chief of Joint Capabilities (CJC), by directing and coordinating Group operations across a range of functions. Headquarters JCG works closely with the Divisions, Commands and Elements within JCG and also the other groups within Defence to contribute to JCG and Defence wide outcomes.
The Risk Officer will work as an integral part of the Business and Governance team within Headquarters JCG. This position will work closely with the Deputy Director Business and Governance and JCG elements to ensure the risk responsibilities and outcomes of the group and Headquarters are achieved.
The broader Headquarters team currently comprises of the Office of the Chief of Joint Capabilities, the Office of the Deputy Chief of Joint Capabilities, Ministerial team, Workforce and Culture team, Media and Communications, Web management and Legal.
