**The Role**
Land Command, Control, Communications and Computer Systems (LC4S) is seeking an APS 6 Services Contracting Officer for the Above The Line (ATL) contractor workforce. As the APS 6 Services Contracting Officer, you will assist in managing multiple vendor contractual arrangements across all projects and products, including two large long-term Integrated Work Partners (IWP) Contracts with two Major Service Providers (MSP).
Working as a Services Contracting Officer, your responsibilities will include the following (but not limited to):
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders both internal and external to the Branch.
- Understand, prepare and assist in the management of the MSP contractual documents.
- Identify, anticipate and respond to stakeholders’ needs and expectations to achieve Branch outcomes.
- Maintain a detailed understanding of relevant frameworks, legislation, policies and procedures.
- As required and determined by operational requirements you will be assisting the wider Branch headquarters team with wide ranging Corporate business as usual tasks, including Coordination, Governance and support elements.
The additional payment is a Building Defence Capability Payment (BDCP) which enables Defence to provide a premium, in addition to the rate of salary otherwise payable under the Enterprise Agreement (EA) to some or all of the jobs within a critical occupation(s) or discipline within a workplace. Applicants engaged into a BDCP position must consider the following. BDCPs provide remuneration in addition to the Defence Enterprise Agreement (EA).
The team is based at Russell Offices in Canberra. We are supportive of achieving a balance between work and life. Flexible working arrangements and opportunities for part-time and home-based work can be negotiated.
