Monitor the quality and accuracy of the designated teams claim assessments ensuring our regulatory requirements and internal policies are met.

**Duties**
It’s an exciting time at icare where no two days are the same; as a HBCF Claims Team Leader you will:
- Analyse HBCF claims management performance and outcomes against the HBCF performance scorecard to ensure expected performance is achieved/maintained.
- Contribute to the ongoing development of the HBCF to improve the HBCF operational performance and our dealings with homeowners & claimants.
- Conduct performance reviews with team members and provide ongoing coaching to develop and enhance their skills.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to facilitate timely and effective claims resolution.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes, enhance operational efficiency and implement best practices within the claims team.
- Monitor and manage claims management policy, guidelines and procedures for the Scheme, consistent with the Scheme’s objectives.
**Skills & Experience**
- Relevant degree qualifications, e.g. bachelor’s degree in business or other relevant discipline
- Experience in the negotiation of complex Home Warranty claims to achieve desired outcomes.
- Proven experience managing a team of up to 12
- Minimum five years’ experience in HBCF/Home Warranty claims environment or other relevant experience (desirable)
