This role would suit an experienced workers compensation leader or aspiring leader with prior exposure to litigated / exempt claims. You will have a growth mindset and display a performance driven, engaging leadership style.

Key to the success of this role is building strong professional relationships with clients and the ability to unpack their key business priorities, driving team performance, and aligning KPIs, whilst undertaking quality assurance and audits.

This is a permanent full-time role with the option to work in the office 2 days a week or more is preferred. The office is based in
***either
**Parramatta or Newcastle**, with travel to the other office as required.

**The Role**:

- Lead a mixed team of Whole Person Impairment (WPI), Work Injury Damages (WID), Recoveries and Fatalities Specialists, driving best-in-market claims performance outcomes.
- Provide guidance and support and ensure a positive team culture.
- Maintain strong internal and external relationships to support and align with the business's claims strategies.
- Be passionate about continuous improvement and always look at ways to make processes and ways of working better.
- Undertake key audits and quality assurance to ensure business performance against KPIs.

**About You**
- Strong workers compensation understanding is essential, knowledge within ligated/ exempt claims is ideal.
- Experience in a leadership role is required in either Nominal Insurer, TMF, or Self Insurance scheme.
- Excellent client service and communication skills.
- People skills and a passion for working with others and being a role model for your team and the wider business.
