WA/NT Construction Manager

**Date**:6 Sep 2024**Location**:Canningvale, WA, AU, 6155**Company**:Ventia**About The Role**
Ventia is seeking a Construction Manager Critical Infrastructure WA/NT to join our close knit and long-standing team based in Canning Vale. This is a full-time permanent position with the flexibility to work from home with travel around WA and NT when required.

**What you’ll be doing**
- Deliver commercially successful outcomes for scope, time, budget, and quality.
- Set up early works, delivery and completion systems and processes, coordinates teams.
- Monitor and report on productivity, drive performance and implement strategies to improve programme and margin
- Be the key contact and liaison between stakeholders on site
- Build internal capability as well as new sub-contracting base.
- Foster existing sub-contractor base.
- Lead client reporting for the region and continue to foster customer / client relationships.

**About You**
- Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in construction, engineering, electrical or similar.
- Experience within the Telecommunications industry highly desirable.
- Understanding of contracts and Australian Construction Standards.
- Sound Knowledge of construction, project and program controls principles and practices
- Very highly developed dispute resolution, collaboration and negotiation skills.
- A high level of motivation and commitment to improve work practices, systems and procedures.
- Flexible attitude to working hours to meet demand.
