**Scheduler - Civil Engineering Technician**

Perth WA

If you have an interest in construction or the reinforcing steel industry and would like to take the next step in your technical career, we have an opportunity for a full-time permanent position.

**Tasks and Duties**

The successful applicant will work with the scheduling team to provide a customer service and technical drawing interpretation function in our specialized reinforcing fabrication processes.

**Your duties but not limited to**:

- Review and interpret architectural drawings and engineering plans
- Review and provide estimating information associated with the construction project build
- Create markup drawings to identify the placement of reinforcement
- Capture all planned and unplanned tonnes scheduled in daily/weekly calendar/tracker.
- Collaborate with Engineering and production project teams to resolve scheduling issues, coordinating and accounting for any changes in the scope of work.

**Job Requirements and experience**:

- Higher education civil qualification (civil engineering degree, diploma of engineering technology etc)
- Ability to read and understand drawings and engineering notes
- Well-spoken and able to present well to a customer
- Experienced and knowledgeable in bar cut and bend
- Knowledge of accessories and meshes
- Computer skills including
- CAD (Autodesk, Bentley etc)
- E-mail
- Excel
- Word
- PowerPoint

**Highly Regarded Attributes**:

- Bachelor’s degree
- Undergraduate studies
- Work experience in construction
- An aptitude for planning

Salary range $73,000 to $80,000

Pay: $73,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Work Authorisation:

- Australia (required)
