We are partnering with our client, a fast-growing global manufacturing leader, based in the south-east suburbs who are growing exponentially. They have a range of exciting initiatives in their pipeline and therefore are seeking an experienced EDI Analyst to join their team and are offering this excellent permanent opportunity to the right person.

**Your new role**
Your new role as an EDI Analyst will include but not limited to the below:

- Coordinate and troubleshoot EDI BAU issues
- Be responsible for the EDI business process design. Work with SMEs to clarify business requirements and processes.
- Assist/control EDI Integration testing requirements during implementation of system changes, support upgrades or other system changes
- Work closely with the IT department on EDI design and implementation to ensure business requirements are being met and communicated to business. Manage the business expectations and consistently provide feedback of the delivery. Ensure business sign off is achieved throughout project lifecycle.
- Ensure that the quality of the implementation of EDI solutions and projects.
- Assist with the facilitation and onboarding for any new EDI connection requests.
- Work with Customers/Suppliers, VANs and Internal Stakeholders to understand the scope of the EDI implementations
- Develop workplans for the EDI rollout
- Work with relevant IT teams to understand internal setup and development activities
- Identify EDI Master Data & Pricing setup requirements and coordinate/assist with Setup/Clean-up activities as required
- Develop test plans, conduct testing and co-ordinate UAT and business sign-off of required changes.
- Escalate and follow-up issues as required
- Assist in development of instructions and informational/training documentation at a level appropriate for the intended audience.
- Provide Training to relevant Team Members
- Assist with Go-Live activities where required
- Provide Post Go-Live Support

**What you'll need to succeed**
To be successful in this role you will have:

- Experience implementing EDI with Customers and Suppliers, at least 3 years minimum
- Strong understanding of Order to Cash and Procure-to-Pay processes
- Experience in SAP SD & MM module experience
- Experience in SAP interface support preferred
- Comfortable communicating and dealing with all levels of business personnel including External Parties
- Strong verbal and written skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office suite
- Committed, self-motivated and excellent attention to detail
- Presentation and training skills required.
- Excellent analytical and lateral thinking skills
- Exposure to the retail industry highly regarded
- An ability to work collaboratively in a project environment
- Must be proactive with ability to think ahead, to be a team player and focussed on meeting deadlines.
- Demonstrate participation in project environments/ projects.
