Your role as a Systems Analyst - Merchandise will analyse and document system requirements and work with Business Stakeholders and IT to ensure systems development and implementation meet requirements. Reporting to the Domain Manager - General Merchandise, Clothing and Food, you will validate solution designs and architecture against business and system requirements and business processes. We are looking for someone with experience in Oracle RMS, has excellent SQL skills and enjoys working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Primarily working from home with the occasional visit to or Burnley head office, this role will suit a Systems Analyst who specialises in development projects.

What does role involve?
- Analyse and document systems requirements to support proposed process and relevant changes
- Work with internal stakeholders and IT to validate, refine and manage business and systems requirements against project scope
- Identify solutions and technologies to improve timely and cost effective systems solutions
- Clarify and resolve issues during development by preparing and evaluating alternative workflow solutions

What are we looking for?
- Experience in a similar Systems Analyst role working on retail IT Development Projects
- Technical experience in RMS with Oracle MFP, RDF or AP software packages
- A strong understanding of retail concepts in supply chain, EDI messaging, Point of Sale solutions and/or inventory management
- Tertiary qualified individual - degree in Computer Science or Business Systems
- Knowledge of SDLC methodologies (waterfall, agile, hybrid)
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
