**About The Role**:
As the General Manager - Workplace Relations Transformation, you’ll lead the development, planning and execution of key People and Wellbeing initiatives projects aligned with our broader strategic goals. You’ll provide expert industrial relations advice, guide risk reduction strategies, and lead a dedicated Workplace Relations Project team to deliver best-practice systems, processes and policies.
This role is all about driving operational excellence, supporting cultural change, and building capability across our leadership teams to create a positive and consistent employee experience.
**What you’ll do**
- Lead major IR and HR transformation projects using established project management frameworks
- Partner with the Chief People Officer and executive team to mitigate organisational risk and enhance our IR legislative framework
- Build capability in ER/IR across all levels of leadership
- Provide expert advice on enterprise agreements, modern awards, and emerging industrial relations trends
- Create scalable processes that support long-term compliance, operational efficiency, and employee engagement
- Collaborate across departments to align projects with broader business priorities
- Manage budgets and reporting for People & Wellbeing transformation initiatives
**About you**
You’re a senior leader with a passion for transformation and deep expertise in industrial relations. You bring a strategic mindset, commercial acumen, and the ability to inspire teams through change. You thrive in complex environments and know how to balance compliance, risk, and cultural objectives.
- Minimum 10 years’ senior experience in industrial/employment relations
- Tertiary qualifications in Employment Law or a related discipline
- A strong background in leading HR/IR transformation and change initiatives
- Deep knowledge of employment legislation, awards and enterprise agreements
- Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills
- Experience leading and mentoring high-performing teams
- Advanced project management capabilities
- Working knowledge of HRIS systems and change management principles
