About the Role.

ACD Trade group is a dynamic and market leading business within the HVAC wholesale and distribution industry. The General Manager will be a highly skilled and motivated individual who can drive the business to new heights. With a focus on continuing to drive improved commercial outcomes and optimizing operations the General Manager will be integral in executing on the growth strategy of the business. This role will be located at the North Lakes Head Office.

Job Description.

As the General Manager, you will have a diverse range of responsibilities that will shape performance of both ACD Trade and Complete Air Supplies. Key deliverables include;

  • Maximise commercial outcomes by optimizing the branch network and ensuring all opportunities are captured. The successful candidate will possess strong business acumen and the ability to act upon revenue generating opportunities.
  • Drive accountability by implementing effective processes and integrating business practices.
  • Develop and execute business strategies aligned with company objectives, leveraging the strengths and talents of the team. Inspire and motivate others to achieve their best, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with the wider Australian group leadership team to ensure stakeholder alignment and facilitate collaboration.
  • Provide exceptional people leadership, guiding the team towards strategic goals, delivering outstanding results, and propelling the business forward. The successful candidate will develop and execute a growth strategy, constantly seeking new opportunities for expansion.

  • Experience: You have proven success as a senior leader within large complex operating environments, preferably in the wholesale or adjacent sectors. You possess demonstrated record of instilling a culture of excellence and ownership, driving outstanding results.
  • Leadership skills. You excel at inspiring and motivating teams to embrace a shared vision and direction. Your values-based leadership approach will be instrumental in managing the integration opportunities resulting from the recent growth.
  • Commercial focus. You possess a strong commercial focus and track record in capturing market opportunities. This commercial leadership experience will set the tone on the success of the branch network.
  • Change Management. You have a strong background in change management, enabling you to address opportunities to see improvement in the business from both a personal and process improvement perspective.
  • Culture Alignment. You have the ability to foster a culture aligned with the companies overall direction, embedding the organizations values and driving a sense of ownership and accountability at all levels.
