Structural Design Draftsperson

We have positions available in our welcoming, yet hard working drafting team, where you will be required to design steel frames and trusses usings our 3D Design Software.

The Structural Design Draftsperson position will be a full-time position based in our head office in Carole Park. Salary will be based on the applicants’ experience in the field and will be competitive with industry standards.

The tasks that you will be required to know or learn are below:

- Reading and Understanding Architectural and Engineering Plans
- Work on our 3D Design Software to design steel frame structures
- Following engineering tables and both company and Australian Standards to design a structurally adequate frame.
- Put together drawings and layouts for both the factory and onsite crews.
- Communicate with in-office team members, clients and engineers in a respectable and professional manner.
- Interest in the building and construction industry
- Excellent attention to detail
- Knowledge and interest in CAD and computers
- Highly Motivated

- Team Player
