**About the Role**
We are seeking a motivated Internal Technical salesperson to join our Brisbane team. This opportunity is open to both:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, you will play a key role in managing customer enquiries, preparing quotations, processing orders, and providing technical support while building strong client relationships.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and follow up quotations, process orders, and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide technical advice and support to customers on specialised products and solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong, long-term business relationships.
- Drive sales by generating new business leads through proactive engagement
- Support external sales staff in converting business opportunities
- Contribute to branch operations, including receiving, packing and dispatching goods.
**Requirements**:
**Qualifications, Skills and Experience**
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in technical sales, trade sales or customer service
- Knowledge of hydraulics, electrical, or mechanical equipment (highly desirable).
- Strong communications, negotiation, and client relationship skills
- Confident computer skills, including CRM and Microsoft Office
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Business or related fields (or equivalent practical/technical background).
- 0-2 years’ experience in sales, account management or engineering roles (graduate encouraged)
- Strong interest in technical products and desire to build a career in sales
- Eagerness to learn with a proactive, can-do attitude.
